1,152 of the 3,446 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Visa (V) for Q4 2013, worth a combined $101B — up 18% from $85B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 148 funds opened new V positions and 65 closed out — a net gain of 83 holders — while 403 added to existing stakes and 466 trimmed.
