3,046 of the 5,746 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Visa (V) for Q2 2021, worth a combined $372B — up 9.8% from $339B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 157 funds opened new V positions and 95 closed out — a net gain of 62 holders — while 1,392 added to existing stakes and 1,117 trimmed.

The largest buyer was AllianceBernstein, adding an estimated $459M. The largest seller was Capital World Investors, cutting an estimated $1.03B.
