V Hedge Fund Activity: Q2 2023 in Review

3,487 of the 6,370 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Visa (V) for Q2 2023, worth a combined $365B — up 4.1% from $351B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 187 funds opened new V positions and 101 closed out — a net gain of 86 holders — while 1,410 added to existing stakes and 1,501 trimmed.

The largest buyer was Capital World Investors, adding an estimated $1.23B. The largest seller was OFI Invest Asset Management, cutting an estimated $13.7B.
