V Hedge Fund Activity: Q3 2015 in Review

1,439 of the 3,582 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Visa (V) for Q3 2015, worth a combined $131B — up 8.6% from $120B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 121 funds opened new V positions and 48 closed out — a net gain of 73 holders — while 637 added to existing stakes and 496 trimmed.

The largest buyer was Bank of America, adding an estimated $799M. The largest seller was T. Rowe Price Associates, cutting an estimated $631M.
