V Hedge Fund Activity: Q1 2015 in Review

1,326 of the 3,753 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Visa (V) for Q1 2015, worth a combined $118B — down 1.5% from $119B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 129 funds opened new V positions and 59 closed out — a net gain of 70 holders — while 506 added to existing stakes and 512 trimmed.

The largest buyer was Lansdowne Partners (UK), adding an estimated $510M. The largest seller was State Street, cutting an estimated $1.24B.
