3,831 of the 6,928 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Visa (V) for Q2 2024, worth a combined $400B — down 5.6% from $424B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 167 funds opened new V positions and 132 closed out — a net gain of 35 holders — while 1,806 added to existing stakes and 1,411 trimmed.

The largest buyer was JP Morgan Chase, adding an estimated $1.12B. The largest seller was Viking Global Investors, exiting entirely with an estimated $1.77B sold.
