514 of the 4,368 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Nasdaq (NDAQ) for Q2 2018, worth a combined $11.5B — up 5.4% from $10.9B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 67 funds opened new NDAQ positions and 42 closed out — a net gain of 25 holders — while 173 added to existing stakes and 188 trimmed.

The largest buyer was Capital International Investors, adding an estimated $113M. The largest seller was Wellington Management Group, cutting an estimated $77.1M.
