1,614 of the 4,363 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Mastercard (MA) for Q1 2018, worth a combined $138B — up 14% from $121B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 130 funds opened new MA positions and 68 closed out — a net gain of 62 holders — while 530 added to existing stakes and 740 trimmed.
