LNG Hedge Fund Activity: Q3 2021 in Review

550 of the 5,712 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Cheniere Energy (LNG) for Q3 2021, worth a combined $21.5B — up 13% from $19B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 64 funds opened new LNG positions and 51 closed out — a net gain of 13 holders — while 196 added to existing stakes and 186 trimmed.
