LNG Hedge Fund Activity: Q4 2019 in Review

519 of the 5,075 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Cheniere Energy (LNG) for Q4 2019, worth a combined $14.4B — down 4.3% from $15.1B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 83 funds opened new LNG positions and 63 closed out — a net gain of 20 holders — while 156 added to existing stakes and 166 trimmed.
