ICE Hedge Fund Activity: Q2 2023 in Review

1,281 of the 6,369 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) for Q2 2023, worth a combined $56.6B — up 7.2% from $52.9B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 110 funds opened new ICE positions and 81 closed out — a net gain of 29 holders — while 473 added to existing stakes and 515 trimmed.

The largest buyer was Wellington Management Group, adding an estimated $410M. The largest seller was Capital World Investors, cutting an estimated $217M.
