612 of the 4,620 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in iShares Gold Trust (IAU) for Q1 2019, worth a combined $6.74B — up 13% from $5.96B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 73 funds opened new IAU positions and 40 closed out — a net gain of 33 holders — while 222 added to existing stakes and 175 trimmed.
