IAU Hedge Fund Activity: Q2 2014 in Review

372 of the 3,479 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in iShares Gold Trust (IAU) for Q2 2014, worth a combined $3.21B — up 4.3% from $3.07B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 31 funds opened new IAU positions and 20 closed out — a net gain of 11 holders — while 112 added to existing stakes and 120 trimmed.
