IAU Hedge Fund Activity: Q2 2020 in Review

835 of the 4,877 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in iShares Gold Trust (IAU) for Q2 2020, worth a combined $14.4B — up 34% from $10.8B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 105 funds opened new IAU positions and 42 closed out — a net gain of 63 holders — while 384 added to existing stakes and 193 trimmed.
