969 of the 5,652 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in iShares Gold Trust (IAU) for Q4 2020, worth a combined $17.7B — up 2.1% from $17.4B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 164 funds opened new IAU positions and 57 closed out — a net gain of 107 holders — while 375 added to existing stakes and 260 trimmed.
