GOOG Hedge Fund Activity: Q1 2017 in Review

1,961 of the 4,018 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Alphabet (Google) Class C (GOOG) for Q1 2017, worth a combined $201B — up 7.1% from $188B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 135 funds opened new GOOG positions and 70 closed out — a net gain of 65 holders — while 799 added to existing stakes and 780 trimmed.
