Currency Exchange International Announces a 10% Increase in Revenue for the first quarter of 2025 Versus the Prior Year
TORONTO, March 12, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Currency Exchange International, Corp. (the “Group” or “CXI”) (TSX: CXI; OTC: CURN), today reported net income of $0.8 million for the first quarter of 2025, 4% lower than the prior year (all figures are in U.S. dollars except where otherwise indicated). This 2025 reported net income reflected $1.7 million net income in the United States and a net loss of $0.9 million in Canada. These results include certain one-time third-party advisory costs of $0.3 million related to regulatory compliance requirements imposed on EBC. Excluding this item, adjusted net income1 increased 29% compared to the prior year and adjusted diluted earnings per share1 (“EPS”) was 31% higher than the prior year. (the “Group” or “CXI”) (TSX: CXI; OTC: CURN), today reported net income of $2.5 million for the year ended October 31, 2024, $7.7 million, or 76% lower than the prior year (all figures are in U.S. dollars except where otherwise indicated).
