About: Berkshire Hathaway is a holding company with a wide array of subsidiaries engaged in diverse activities. The firm's core business segment is insurance, run primarily through Geico, Berkshire Hathaway Reinsurance Group, and Berkshire Hathaway Primary Group. Berkshire has used the excess cash thrown off from these and its other operations over the years to acquire Burlington Northern Santa Fe (railroad), Berkshire Hathaway Energy (utilities and energy distributors), and the companies that make up its manufacturing, service, and retailing operations (which include five of Berkshire's largest noninsurance pretax earnings generators: Precision Castparts, Lubrizol, Clayton Homes, Marmon, and IMC/ISCAR). The conglomerate is unique in that it is run on a completely decentralized basis.

Has Berkshire Hathaway Lost The Buffett Premium?
Berkshire Hathaway Inc. has sold off since CEO Warren Buffett announced his retirement, but the fundamentals remain strong. The recent 10% BRK.A stock decline is an overreaction to Buffett's retirement; he remains involved, and the company's fundamentals are intact. Core businesses like insurance and energy are well-positioned to benefit from long-term secular tailwinds, especially with higher interest rates and increased energy demand. Technical analysis shows Berkshire is oversold near the 200-day EMA, presenting a compelling buy-the-dip opportunity for long-term investors.

Buy Berkshire Hathaway Before The Market Realizes Its Value
Berkshire Hathaway is undervalued, trading at historic lows on P/E and P/B, despite robust operating profits and a fortress balance sheet. DCF and SOTP analyses indicate intrinsic value per share of $500–$535, supporting an 11–25% upside from current levels. Key risks include leadership transition, Apple concentration, regulatory shifts, and macro headwinds, but diversified cash flows provide resilience.
