900 of the 3,480 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in BP (BP) for Q2 2014, worth a combined $19.8B — up 8.7% from $18.3B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 63 funds opened new BP positions and 47 closed out — a net gain of 16 holders — while 345 added to existing stakes and 300 trimmed.
