977 of the 4,012 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Alibaba (BABA) for Q2 2017, worth a combined $135B — up 40% from $96.7B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 160 funds opened new BABA positions and 63 closed out — a net gain of 97 holders — while 436 added to existing stakes and 264 trimmed.
