1,313 of the 4,364 institutional investors tracked by Wall St. Rank reported a position in Alibaba (BABA) for Q1 2018, worth a combined $180B — up 7.2% from $168B a quarter earlier.

Buyers outnumbered sellers: 192 funds opened new BABA positions and 90 closed out — a net gain of 102 holders — while 599 added to existing stakes and 375 trimmed.
