About: Since its founding in 1806, Colgate-Palmolive has grown into a leading player in the household and personal care industry. In addition to its namesake oral care line (which accounts for north of 40% of its total sales), the firm manufactures shampoos, shower gels, deodorants, and home care products that are sold in over 200 countries. International sales account for about 70% of its total business, including approximately 45% from emerging regions. Colgate-Palmolive Stock: A Haven In An AI Bubble (Rating Upgrade)
Colgate-Palmolive Company is upgraded to Buy for the first time in more than two years as shares reach the targeted accumulation range of $81-82. CL's defensive business model, resilient pricing power, and 67% non-U.S. revenue provide stability and a hedge against potential market volatility ahead. Valuation metrics, including P/E and dividend yield, have fallen below (dividend yield above) historical averages, signaling a favorable entry point for investors after years of ambitious valuations.
