Carnival (CCL -0.65%) (CUK -0.94%) is the leading global cruise operator, and if you haven't been paying attention until recently, you might not realize that it was in serious danger just a few years ago. Carnival's Fleet Modernization Will Be A Game Changer
Carnival is deeply undervalued, trading at just 16x forward earnings, despite record revenues, yields, and operating income, offering 70% upside potential. Fleet modernization is driving structural improvements: new ships deliver 25-30% higher yields and 20% fuel savings, boosting ROIC and margins above pre-pandemic levels. Carnival's operational turnaround is underappreciated, with strong booking trends, pricing power, and cost discipline positioning it for sustained growth and re-rating.
